What Can God's People Do ?
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." ( Isaiah 40:31)
There is not much we can do to change the world.
We can however find ways to battle the odds and create new grounds for ourselves :
We can reach out one to another and share our feelings.
We can help one another to discover hidden blessings behind set-backs and mishaps.
We can rejoice and celebrate from moment to moment, from day to day.
We can laugh and sing and dance.
We can learn to pray powerful prayers.
We can extend our lives to domains and territories we never knew.
We can receive great blessings and become even greater blessings to others.
These, and much more, are what Jesus Christ had taught us through His life and His teaching.
He had demonstrated on the cross how one can actually DIE to win.
The core of the matter is called FAITH, believing whole-heartedly in the goodness of God and in His ability to save us in all situations.
Jesus said one should build on the ROCK, and not on sinking sand.
By this He meant FAITH in the LIVING AND LOVING GOD.
Would you like to list the things you can do when you have established yourself on the Rock of Ages ?
You only have to trust in God to give you all the strength you need.
"For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom His whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fulness of God." ( The apostle Paul wrote to God's people at Ephesus / Ephesians 3:14-19 )
